Qualifications in advanced construction and maintenance, a current traffic controller’s certificate, experience in basic concreting and bitumen work and a first aid certificate would be desirable. DRAFT MANAGEMENT PLAN In accordance with the provisions of Section 402 of the Local Government Act, 1993 Council has prepared a Draft Management Plan covering Council’s activities for the three year period 2011/2012 to 2013/2014. Water Matters...

WATER RESTRICTIONS Council has resolved to remove water restrictions within the Shire. However, as water is a limited resource, residents are asked to be prudent in their use of water. MELBOURNE STREET MULWALA RECONSTRUCTION WORKS Residents, business operators and road users are advised that Corowa Shire will commence the reconstruction and landscaping of Melbourne Street Mulwala, between Bayly and Inglis Street on 16 May 2011. The first stage of the works will include replacement of existing kerbs and watermains at Inglis Street and installation of additional underground drainage. The second stage will see the installation of a centre median with additional street lighting, pavement rehabilitation and a new roundabout at the intersection of Melbourne and Inglis Street. Construction speed zones will be in place and are enforceable. During the works there will be occasional traffic delays and detours. local residents in Melbourne Street may have restricted property access at times and will be advised by construction staff on site prior to this happening.
