GORDON DUNCAN BRIDGE REPAIR A contractor will be undertaking repair to the damaged handrails on Gordon Duncan Bridge on Minns Road after Easter and the work is anticipated to take 2 weeks – weather permitting. The bridge will not be closed to normal traffic, although some minor delays may be experienced. However, due to the nature of the work, one lane will be closed infrequently and it would be appreciated if wide farm machinery would refrain from using this route whilst work is in progress. Funding is from Category 1 under the Scheme with the following projects qualifying:• Community welfare and social services • Community development • Community health services • Employment assistance activities. Groups operating in Victoria may apply for funding assistance if they are able to demonstrate a service is being provided to NSW residents.
