The Road Safety Officer will be responsible for road safety planning and policy in Council and for the development, coordination and implementation of local road safety programs. Snippets Wednesday 30th May 2012 www.corowa.nsw.gov.au PUBLIC EXHIBITION – DRAFT DELIVERY PROGRAM, OPERATIONAL PLAN AND REVENUE POLICY In accordance with the new Local Government Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework, Council has prepared its Draft 2012 - 2016 Delivery Program, incorporating the Draft 2012/2013 Operational Plan, covering Council’s activities for the four year period 2012/2016. The Delivery Program is intended to set the direction of Council for the next four years. The Draft 2012/2013 Operational Plan and Draft 2012 - 2016 Delivery Program are prepared in accordance with the NSW Local Government Act and include the following: • A list of the Principal Activities to be undertaken by the Council, together with the objectives, strategies and performance measures for each activity; • A rating structure for the year 2012/2013 to be effective from 1 July 2012; • A full listing of all fees and charges to be charged by Council for the 2012/2013 year; • A detailed statement of the proposed Estimates of Income and Expenditure for the 2012/2013 year, together with a statement of the proposed budgets for the years 2013/2014, 2014/2015 and 2015/2016. The Draft 2012/2013 Operational Plan and Draft 2012 - 2016 Delivery Program are on public exhibition until Tuesday 19 June 2012. All documents can be viewed from Council’s website www.corowa.nsw.gov. au or are available for inspection at Councils’ offices in Corowa, Howlong and Mulwala.
