More new Mulwala homes Mulwala has outstripped Corowa and Howlong in the number of new homes approved within the shire in the 2010/2011 financial year. Construction certificate values for the shire in 2010/2011 including new houses, subdivisions and commercial development, dropped from $20

million to $17.5 million in the last financial year. There was a slight increase in new dwellings across the shire, from 54 the previous year to 58 in 2010/2011 and an increase in the value of new dwellings from $11.2 million in 2009/2010 to $12.4 million in 2010/2011.
