That’s 18 years,” he said. “We’ve seen their children grow up, get married and have children of their own. Rio is like a family.” As such, Silva and his team are constantly coming up with ways to provide new experiences and keep “the family” well-fed and entertained.

So besides good food, what can make people happier than music? Beginning at 6 p.m. every Wednesday night, there’s a live band performance either inside or on the patio, depending on the weather.

Rio recently started offering Sunday brunch, which features such traditional Mexican breakfast favorites as tostadas, huevos rancheros and dulce de leche waffl es; and for those who want to kick it up a notch, there are bloody Marias and mimosas.
