Into the TTC Continuum

Users of one of the UK’s most advanced driver risk management platforms can now also benefit from route optimisation, thanks to an exciting new partnership.

In the age of Big Data, one of the dangers for fleet managers is data overload. Extracting the right information from multiple systems can be an arduous task - and when those systems are not integrated, it can create data silos.

TTC Group is addressing this issue for fleets, through its innovative TTC Continuum platform. Continuum brings together all the elements of fleet risk management, including compliance issues such as licence checks; risk management using in-vehicle technology such as telematics; and driver training.

The Group is further expanding its offering, by working with The Algorithm People. This will see the My Transport Planner route optimisation platform integrated within the TTC Continuum. From a risk management perspective, smarter route planning is proven to reduce total mileage by up to 20 per cent. Fewer miles travelled means lower risk of road traffic incidents. Accurate planning also ensures that drivers can fulfil their tasks without coming under pressure to break speed limits in order to hit deadlines. This also improves driver welfare by reducing stress and fatigue.
