CRIME SCENE CLASS Analyze a crime scene just like the Police or FBI. See how fingerprints, hair samples and other evidence are collected and analyzed to find the criminal. Participate in an actual reenactment of a crime scene and study the evidence with real samples under a crime scene microscope.

Flying Horse Day Camp for Children Join in on the fun at our new and improved Day Camp! Campers will be immersed in creativity enrichment, sports, science, social activities and just plain fun. Each day and week will be a new adventure as we explore the world of sports, pool time, arts, crafts, music and more through a variety of activities. This will include an introduction to some of the most popular sports in America today such as golf, tennis, basketball and soccer. Kids will learn basic skills of each sport and be able to improve strength, coordination, self-esteem, and motivation throughout the week-long sessions by energetic camp counselors. Top off the day by learning basic Science concepts using hands-on experiments and projects. We will even break into reading groups for 20 minutes each day.

YOUNG REMBRANDTS UNDER THE SEA WORKSHOP Under the sea makes us think of mermaids, fish, shipwrecks and even sharks. All of these will inspire our work as we draw many animal and human characters found under the sea. Our last day will be exciting as we combine the subject matter we have learned into one larger drawing with a story of its own. Media used will include pencils, color pencils and markers.

YOUNG REMBRANDTS/BRICKS 4 KIDZ-SPACE WORKSHOP Young Rembrandts and Bricks 4 Kidz team up to bring an OUT OF THIS WORLD, Space Workshop! This five day workshop incorporates; science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. Students will explore the topic of space while working with three different mediums, drawing spaceships and aliens then completing their drawing with colored pencils. They will also learn cartooning techniques for their spaceships using Sharpies™ and markers. Topped off by completing one large space piece using pastels. After completing the art portion each day (1 1/2 hrs), Bricks 4 Kidz will engage students’ curiosity and creativity through hands on building activities. INGREDIENTS: 24-30 large strawberries Jell-O – 1 box strawberry Jell-O 1 cup Tequila 3/4 cup Cointreau GARNISH: Sugar and 1-2 limes
BERRY PREP DIRECTIONS: 1. Balance the strawberry on its side, parallel to the cutting
board at the point where it is widest, and cut off the top. Still holding it the same way, cut off a small part of the bottom tip so the berry stands upright. Make sure not to cut off too much or you’ll create a hole at the bottom. Repeat for all strawberries.

They include Modernists long associated with New Mexico (Joseph Henry Sharp, Raymond Jonson, Victor Higgins), as well as those who found inspiration during visits there
