Born and raised in Montana, I became obsessed with natural environments at a young age. Once I picked up a camera, my passion for creating combined with a love for the outdoors and adventuring turned into my career. Ultimately, my goal is to gain a bigger understanding of the world through photography and expose myself to other perspectives and ways of life. I hope to become a better member of society through my craft.
Michelle was born in Panama but moved to Texas as a child. After graduating from college, she discovered hiking and quickly fell in love with the mountains. Michelle decided to follow her passion for the outdoors and photography and moved to Seattle with her husband and two dogs. She now spends her weekends chasing new experiences throughout the Pacific Northwest but also loves hanging out in her cozy house in Washington State.
Daniel is a photographer based out of Vancouver, BC. He picked up a camera in high school and instantly fell in love. Following a passion for travel, photography has taken him all around the world seeking spectacular destinations through a lens. Daniel’s work is a representation of his creativity and devotion to adventure.

Helsinki, Finland @julia_kivela / @kivelajulia In 2011, Julia moved to Finland from St Petersburg, Russia, after falling in love with her husband, who she met in the fall of 2010 in Helsinki, Finland. Julia has always been interested in photography. When she moved to Finland she didn’t take much with her, but one thing she took was her camera. While living in Finland Julia fell in love with Finnish nature and became a self-taught professional photographer who takes her inspiration and love for photography straight from nature. Her popularity has skyrocketed on Instagram where she currently has more than 55,000 followers. Julia’s work has also won photo competitions, including one organized by National Geographic Russia.

Giulia is a travel and commercial photographer based in northern Italy. Growing up in the heart of the Italian Alps, Giulia was surrounded by beauty, which helped shape her love for natural beauty and photography. The Dolomites were the earliest subjects of her pictures, an opportunity many photographers only dream of. With her yellow jacket and a camera in her hand, she is always chasing the adventure and exploring beautiful corners of this world. Giulia is also passionate about the environment and the protection and conservation of our planet.
T
o ensure our products are ready for any adventure, we design and test for extreme environments and intense activities. It’s a journey that starts in our design studio, goes through our testing labs, and then out into the field for real world explorations. Those explorations include faraway places and extreme temperatures, as well as a weekend hike or coffee with friends. From urban streets to mountain peaks, we design and test for it all. To better showcase this diverse range of experiences, we added some new members to our ambassador team this past season and are pleased to introduce you to them here.

Based in San Francisco, Kelsey is a commercial, travel and lifestyle photographer with a passion for capturing the feeling of adventure. A storyteller at heart, she specializes in photographing the interaction between people and the outdoors, often including herself or others within her work.
Not just another beard, Liam has a BSc (Hons) Double Major in Exercise Physiology & Medical Physiology or, his own words, “a BSc in pickin’ it up and puttin’ it down, in both health and in sickness”. When he’s not studying up on new training techniques, Liam can be found in the gym pumping iron or shredding some gnar on bike, skis, or paddle board.
Giulio hails from a small village in western Germany. With an inherent love of nature and peaceful places, his photography journey naturally transitioned from a hobby into a successful career as a freelance photographer and filmmaker. His passion for photography developed during a trip to Asia in 2016. Here he bought a cheap camera, taking pictures of everything that came across his lens. Unfortunately, he was dealt a blow when his SD card broke losing thousands of pictures of fascinating places like the Angkor Temple in Cambodia and Halong Bay in Vietnam.
Her previous photographic exploits include: spelunking through underground rivers in New Zealand, hiking Norwegian cliffs at sunrise, backpacking to a hidden oasis in the Grand Canyon, living out of a camper van across the Southwest, and getting soaked under Icelandic waterfalls.

The ‘mm’ rating is a standardized test determined by placing a 1” x 1” tube over the fabric to determine how high (in mm’s) a column of water can be suspended before the fabric leaks. The higher the rating, the higher the waterproofness.

BREATHABLE The breathable icon identifies breathable fabric. The ‘g/m2’ rating is a standardized test determined by measuring how readily oxygen and moisture vapor molecules pass through the fabric, under controlled laboratory conditions. The higher the rating, the higher the breathability.

CRITICAL SEAM-SEAL
Seam sealing is the application of a specialized waterproof film used to seal seams. Because sewing needles create small holes that will cause the fabric to leak, seam-sealing is used to seal the holes, to make the seam waterproof. Fully seam-sealed indicates that all seams are sealed, to make a watertight outer membrane.
The critical seam seal icon indicates that the seams and junctions most vulnerable to leak under normal conditions typically the seams on the neck, shoulders, and chest – are sealed. In this case, not all seams are sealed. Critical seam sealing is a suitable technology for most outdoor activities, but full seam sealing is best for extreme weather.
ULTRASONIC WELDED SEAMS Ultrasonic welded seams make a watertight seam using mechanical vibrations above the audible range to ‘weld’ fabric panels together, without any needle punctures from sewing. Ultrasonic seam welding is an advanced manufacturing process and makes an absolute leak-proof seam.
DEVICE SIZE The maximum device size icon indicates the maximum size device that the product device pocket or compartment will accommodate.
RFID BLOCK RFID block materials effectively block radiofrequency. Chip-enabled cards like credit cards and identification cards can be wirelessly ‘skimmed’ to collect your personal data. RFID block technology protects from electronic pickpocketing, and wireless theft.
