The night creatures were gathering.

Pangolin, Aardvark and Leopard came together to celebrate the life of Zebra.

They took their memories into the wild. And the night danced around them.

Many moons passed and the night creatures thought of Zebra often.

But something was troubling Pangolin. It was just a hint of a memory. Or a thought perhaps. And it lingered at the edge of her mind. Always there but slightly out of reach. Pangolin woke up at moonrise. Something was different. Perhaps the moon was brighter that night. Or the stars had more sparkle. Or the air a little warmer than usual. But pangolin had remembered. Zebras cannot sleep alone.

The night creatures wake to the moon and the stars, where the earth is dark and quiet but very much alive. The time came for Zebra to return to the earth. Pangolin, Aardvark and Leopard laid Zebra to rest among the leaves, but something continued to trouble Pangolin. Follow the night creatures as they learn how to deal with the loss of their friend and embark on a journey through the wild night.
