BLOODY YOUTH No. 1 came out in 1983 made by Kjell Hell ("I made everything") and Fredrik Sandow ("He had the photocopier in the absement"). In the editorial bands that play oi are requested to get in contact, however the bands included in the zine itself are quite far from oi-bands. There is an interview by the sometimes infamous Mats Bodenmalm with Swedish legends Anti Cimex (almost throughout the whole zine the band name is misspellt "Anti-Zimex") in which Jonsson is listing his favourite bands. In addition this fanzine offers a extensive Finland scene report, and interviews or articles on bands including Ultra Violent, Varukers, The Bristles, TST, Kurt i Kuvös, Samples, Joon Erektion, Chaotic Dischord, news and reviews. Also note the adverts in the zine, for example Bodenmalms' Brutal-Records have a full page advert that lists "Raped ass" for 10 Swedish Crowners (SEK), 17 for Skitslickers' "Spräckta snutskallar" and the Finnish compilation "Propaganda" costs 48 SEK.
