Company Profile Hemant and Nandita began their journey together in the fashion industry in the year 2004 when they launched their label together, Hemant-Nandita. The label hence came into existence with clear mindset and goals to achieve. Hemant-Nandita’s forte lies in array of prints developed by fusing various traditional and contemporary elements. They inter-mingle trends and styles to create something that is true to their sensibilities. Their individualistic statement is something people look up to and their designs go beyond admiration.They have always competed with a basic ideology that being from India and selling worldwide, our brand must mingle Indian elements modified with quirkiness. They have mastered in fusing pop colors with modern silhouettes and traditional bits. The duo plays with unique prints, motifs, embellishments and techniques that are not just distinct but easy, wearable and always leaves an impact. Hemant-Nandita has today earned great amount of appreciation that has helped them reach the peak of their fashion ladder. The duo sells from a couple of the best multi designer outlets in al over the world and has also been selling in stores like ANTHROPOLOGIE (USA,UK), HARVEY NICHOLS(RIYADH), FREE PEOPLE, FRED SEGAL, REVOLVE CLOTHING, BAY CREWS, CALYPSO AND OTHER BOUTIQUE STORES in Abu Dabi, Bangkok, Cannes , Dubai, Greece , Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuwait, New York, Panama, Paris , south Africa ,Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Dubai, Riyadh, Turkey, Israel, Jeddah, Berlin, Genève, Cyprus to name a few.



Stakeholders Hemant and Nandita met while pursuing their degree in fashion and hit it off when they realized they shared an immense love for the arts. Hailing from a business family, Hemant was always passionate about entrepreneurship and Nandita’s desire to vent her creative energy, seeded the bond of their friendship. In 2004, with the ideology to be inspired by art forms and to cartel it with a contemporary outlook, the duo began their design journey. They worked their charisma over basic motifs inspired from architecture, carvings, dying art forms, and tribal culture to transform them into classic yet unique prints, embroideries and surface developments. While Hemant works towards the brand presence and business outlook, Nandita spearheads designing and other creative aspects.

Spring 21

The Hemant & Nandita Spring’21 collection is bold, loud inspired by wild Africa, which immerse you in the fierce c and pink perfectly harmonize to create beautiful pieces p dark shades of orange and black combine to form a lasti where fashion was at its quirkiest best, the collection also twist. Tailored blazers with oversized ruffled sleeves, long a stunning addition to the season’s must have pieces!

Highlight Embroidery The techniques is called highlight embroidery. We used this embroidery to give a 3d look to garment and mostly used in belts and scarves. Machine embroidery done on a printed fabric with same colour resham threads.


Adding Element

This is a garment from Hemant & Nandita Spring’21 collection. We added just a frill of pleated fabric with viscose silver stripe lurex in this top to enhance the frill on the sleeve hem.



Trims & Tassels The label use tassels and fringes extensively to highlight the hem and details of the garment.

Asisting the Shoot After every collection, there was a shoot conducted and i was assigned to find locations and assist models with the garments and helping stylist.


Making Tags One of my responsibilities was to type and assemble tags with the correct silhouette.
