Adverse Reactions
Chasteberry is safe. It is not aassociated with any major adverse reactions. Minor reactions include gastrointestinal reactions, rash, headache, pruritus, fatigue and acne.
Food and Drug Interactions
There are no known food interactions. Chasteberry has dopamine agonist activity so interactions with dopamine agonists and dopamine receptors antagonists, fertility and contraceptive drugs is possible. Chasteberry is contraindicated in women who are breastfeeding.
