SUPERVISOR OF OPERATIONS • 20th Year _ As a Purdue assistant coach from 1997-2011, recruited & coached 20 Boilermaker All-Americans _ Currently assists with day-to-day operations of both the men's & women's programs _ Helped build the team that led Purdue to its best-ever Big Ten & NCAA finishes in 2010 _ Coached every current school-record holder through the end of the 2010-11 season _ 1990 Purdue alumna was the program’s first All-American honoree _ 1989 & 1990 All-American; Finished 5th in the 200 Butterfly at the 1989 NCAAs _ 1988 & 1990 Big Ten Conference Champion in the 200 Butterfly _ Finished her Purdue career as the school record holder in the 100 & 200 Fly & as part of the 800 Free & 400 Medley Relay Teams

Diving Well

_ Host of the 2002, 2005, 2010, 2013 & 2016 NCAA Zone C Diving Championships _ The diving well features 1- and 3-meter springboards as well as platforms at 1, 3, 5, 7 ½ and 10 meters _ 12-person spa on deck _ Live video playback system that allows divers to watch a replay of their dive seconds after exiting the water _ The dryland practice equipment includes two Trampolines, four diving boards and a tumbling floor that covers 40 feet of the Boilermaker Aquatic Center’s mezzanine level _ Diving-specific scoreboard on the west wall

SPORTS PERFORMANCE

The sports performance program at Purdue aims to provide a world-class training program to the school’s 500 student athletes, spanning 18 sports. With consideration of each sport coaching staff’s desires & the skills required by each sport, the sports performance team seeks to bring about improvement in: • Power Development • Mobility • Strength • Recovery & Regeneration • Movement • Flexibility • Speed

SPORTS MEDICINE & ATHLETIC TRAINING

Purdue Sports Medicine utilizes on-site daily care by the athletic training staff & team physicians, as well as consultants in orthopedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, neurology & other medical specialties in Greater Lafayette & Indianapolis. With the Mackey Project renovation, the athletic training area was expanded to 3 1/2 times its original size. It now includes the latest equipment and methods for: • Cardiovascular Rehab & Training • Hydrotherapy • Exam/Taping Tables • Private Doctor’s Suites

• Responsible for overseeing & facilitating the healthcare for the student-athletes • Creates & maintains rehabilitation programs for athletes who have undergone surgery

The facilities in the Drew & Brittany Brees Student Athlete Academic Center and the academic support services staff are available to help student-athletes reach their academic goals. Student-athletes have acccess to: • Monitored study tables • Individual & group tutoring • A 74-station computer lab • Laptop computers for traveling • Supplemental instruction • Note takers With the Mackey Project renovation complete, the entire upper level of Brees Center has been transformed into an academic center consisting of approximately 10,000 square feet with formal & informal studying & tutoring areas & offices for the academic support services staff.

• Responsible for overseeing strength training & conditioning • Creates & maintains programs that focus on injury prevention & proper mechanics

_ Adam Soldati leads divers David Boudia & Steele Johnson to Olympic bids on 10-meter & two medals in Rio

_ All-America honors for Emily Fogle, Mary Beth Dunnichay & Kaersten Meitz _ Fogle earns All-America honors in both breaststroke events, becoming Purdue’s first full-fledged (top 8) All-American in a swimming event since 2010

Academic Excellence Purdue has earned over 400 Academic All-Big Ten awards, which is among the top third of the conference. The Boilermakers’ team GPA in 2015-16 was once again among the highest at the NCAA Division I level, earning a CSCAA All-Academic Team Award. Purdue has ranked as high as fourth nationally. The Boilermakers have averaged 13 Academic All-Big Ten members per season since the first awards came to Purdue following the 1986-87 campaign. Purdue has had 10 or more names on the Academic All-Big Ten team in every season but one since 1994-95.

Purdue Olympians The Boilermakers have sent athletes and coaches to the Olympic Games. Current head diving coach Adam Soldati was part of the official USA Diving coaching staff at the 2012 & 2016 Olympic Games in London & Rio de Janeiro. He helped Purdue divers David Boudia & Steele Johnson win medals, including four by Boudia. He won gold indiviudally on 10-meter in 2012. Boudia & Johnson won silver together in synchronized 10-meter in 2016.

International Competition In addition to the Olympics, Purdue was represented on the international stage at the 2009, 2013 & 2015 World University Games. Kara Cook & Ashley Karnes were selected to don the Red, White and Blue of Team USA at the 2009 WUG in Belgrade, Serbia. Karnes came home with a bronze medal via her third-place finish in 1-meter diving. MacKenzie Tweardy earned a berth on the 2013 team and competed in Kazan, Russia with synchro partner Sarah McCrady of Minnesota. Most recently, Nika Karlina Petric represented her native Slovenia at the 2015 WUG in Gwangju, South Korea.
