The beautiful grey stone churches of the archipelago. The church in Pargas was built in the 14th century and is dedicated to Saint Simon. The Agricola chapel, is the oldest part of the church and nowadays a museum. Själö was the outpost island where lepers and mentally ill people were banished. The present Church was built in 1733 and has a unique wooden fence which in the old days isolated the lepers from the rest of the church-goers.
