Nestled in ancient woodland at the heart of the Bowcliffe Estate, the Blackburn Wing is a 2,000sq ft modern-day treehouse with a real wow factor. The Blackburn Wing pays tribute to aviation hero Robert Blackburn, who lived in Bowcliffe Hall.
A multi-award-winning venue, constructed from beautiful copper and glass, the Blackburn Wing is an architectural masterpiece that provides the perfect space to host your ceremony or drinks/evening reception, or both!
Offering a unique space to hold your special celebration, with unforgettable views over charming woodland, your guests are sure to be wowed by this wonderfully striking space.
The Ballroom

Originally the drawing room of Bowcliffe Hall, the Ballroom has been meticulously restored to its former glory and acts as a magnificent backdrop for the wedding of your dreams.
With the focal point of the room being a spectacular ceiling gilded in 23.5 carat gold and a dazzling chandelier, the Ballroom also features exquisite hand blocked wallpaper, an art deco bar and a state-of-the-art sound system.
Another quirky feature of the room is the hidden oak dance floor, perfect for dancing the night away!
The Bowcliffe Drivers’ Club & Briefing Room

Famed for its out-of-this-world, 1920s-inspired decor, which pays homage to the golden age of motoring, the Bowcliffe Drivers’ Club & Briefing Room exudes pure glamour and sophistication.
An intimate and luxurious venue to hold your wedding celebrations, your guests will marvel over the magnificent space, including its original motoring artworks, artifacts and specially-commissioned motoring memorabilia, ardently collected over a number of years.
You can hold your private, intimate wedding ceremony in this beautiful space, before heading out onto our south-facing terrace for reception drinks and delicious canapes.
The Chapel
Hidden away in the grounds of the Bowcliffe Hall estate is our very own chapel. Nestled in our charming gardens, our chapel, while not licensed for civil ceremonies, is ideal for couples who would like to hold an intimate blessing as part of their wedding celebrations.
There’s room to accommodate 12 guests in the chapel, meaning your closest family and friends can witness your blessing too. The chapel is also perfect for a moment’s peace and contemplation during your big day.
The Grounds
The grounds at Bowcliffe Hall are what make it one of Yorkshire’s most special wedding venues. With perfectly-manicured lawns, picturesque ancient woodland and award-winning manicured gardens, the grounds on the Estate provide the perfect backdrop for out-of-this-world wedding photos, allowing you to capture memories that will last a lifetime.
With 28 acres of luscious landscaped grounds, Bowcliffe Hall also has space to accommodate marquee or tipi weddings on either the South or East lawns, making it ideal for those looking to host a large wedding reception.
Food of Love
When it comes to wedding feasts, the food served at Bowcliffe Hall weddings is extra special. Our team is hugely passionate about food and works closely with each couple to craft their dream menu, that perfectly reflects their personal tastes.
Our expert team of talented chefs will make sure that the food served at your wedding matches the feel of your day to a tee. Using fresh, locally-sourced and home-grown produce, your delicious wedding menu will comprise of your wedding breakfast, evening food and options for children and those with specific dietary needs.
Alternatively, if you’re looking for something a little more personal, our chefs can whip up a bespoke menu that’s completely unique to you and your guests.
“We had had a menu tasting beforehand which was AMAZING, so we knew this part was well taken care of. It was planned so that there was food available for most parts of the day.
Canapes at the drinks reception, the most incredible food at the wedding breakfast, a selection of fudge made by the Chef before the evening do and a hog roast/grazing table for the night.
