Hi! I’m Rachael! I am the face behind the camera. My story is a simple one. My hubby surprised me with a new Nikon DSLR for his birthday in 2009. (Yes, his!) The role of “mom-tographer” was mine. My kids became my subjects because seriously who doesn’t love chubby cheeks and tiny toes!?! I fell in love with the art, the creative outlet, and the challenge of continuing to improve. Through the wonderful world of technology many, MANY photographers have invested in me as well as local photog friends who are really kind and answer my unending questions. The value of a photo has become so near to my heart as I see time steal away faster than our minds and hearts capture the moments. Suddenly your babies are grown and loved ones pass on. Somehow an image can make your heart relive a moment. And that’s why I love and am honored to do what I do!
