A NOTE FROM THE SALTY CREW

WOW... here we are, year #5.

As many of you know, this race was “where it all start-ed” for Salty Sports Society and the Speedo SALT Series. While every member of this crew had a long history with open water swimming, it was the first time we all came together. It was the first step of a passion project that has brought so many amazing people into our lives. Swimmers, volunteers, sponsors, locals, and lifeguards. You have all kept us smiling, on our toes, and committed to providing an amazing experience for everyone that attends our races.

A slice of Old Florida neatly tucked along the Gulf, this island is one of our favorite places to escape the world, and enjoy a fun filled weekend. We are so excited to wel-come you to enjoy this special destination and this amazing open water community (Go Hogfish!) with us.

We hope you’ll take the time to explore, have an adventure, and make an island story all your own.

See you soon!
