Envisioning a better society and the future has been one of my primary goals as a designer. Projects I have created in the past five years of university are architectural and design experiments in response to the environmental and social context whilst focusing on sustainability. With that vision in mind, I’m driven to bring impactful innovation by implementing sustainable design and architecture, that will hopefully save nature and shape our future.

MOVE is a co-housing project which aims to build 28 sustainable homes in an urban ensemble with shared facilities that create a sense of community. It emphasises the main environmental and social challenges we face today; the negative impact of the building industry in terms of carbon emissions and the increasing loneliness in our society.

The aim of this cohousing project is to give the residents not only a place to live but also a place where they can share resources, whether it’s facilities, spaces, or time with all other residents. This way of living can help reduce the carbon footprint while at the same time increasing the social welfare and quality of life of all inhabitants.

This project consists of 28 individual houses. 14 houses for the Type A; a 108m² with two -bedroom layouts. Another 14 houses for the Type B; a 123m² with three-bedroom layouts. Each house benefits a small private garden and balconies, as well as the upper floor with high ceilings and glass wall. The Common House provides a place for residents to socialise, host guests, work and eat together. It includes a kitchen and dining, lounge, children’s playroom, working space, and flexible spaces for meetings and events.

P R E FA BR I C AT E D BU I L D I N G The 3 different modules will all feature a modular concrete frame. The implementation of modular construction in this project is an act in response to a more environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable new way of living.
This process allows, by the simplicity of the structure, to be adapted to different sites and to respond to different urban boundaries. At the same time allowing time, cost, and energy savings that can significantly reduce waste in the construction process, limiting the overall environmental impact.

H OT E L C o . Reusing Shipping Container
10 - Hotel Co.
Containers are typically left unused or expensively reprocessed in a complicated manufacturing process that not only costs money but also consumes energy. Whilst containers are actually structurally strong and safe, inexpensive, environmentally-friendly, with very high capabilities of achieving aesthetic values.

Floor Plan
The core concept of the Hotel Co. is based on the idea of reusing shipping containers and transforming them into a hotel, offering the visitor a unique experience. By installing them at the cliff of a waterfall, the goal is to reimagine its environment as a habitable place, answering the ecological challenges and maximizing the potential of mother nature.

Hotel Co. is comprised of 12 shipping containers that are overlapped each other, one is resting on the ground and the other hanging volume is supported by 10 cables beams, which also act as the cantilever to support a whole load of the structure. 2 modules of containers are assembled for the entry lobby and the restaurant. Offering bigger spaces for its function.

TRIHOUSE Biophilic Architecture
“How should an architect situate their work against the natural environment?” In the 21st century, this question has been asked with a renewed urgency.
Embracing the environment and insisting on sustainability, TriHouse’s intention is to respond to that question. Set between a dense forest and a lake, the shape of TriHouse is dictated by the context of the site, respecting its surroundings and diffuses in them.

The interior, the shape of the building, and the surrounding nature harmoniously coexist, maximizing the connection between indoor and outdoor while also acting as a part of a larger ecosystem.

The central atrium also acts as a rainwater collector and a passive air system for TriHouse
Complementing 2 systems; Solar panels and rainwater collecting help to produce more of TriHouse’s sustainable energy.

OHOUSE consists of 3 separate individual houses. Each has 3 bedrooms, a private terrace, and a rooftop. Each owns its central entrances that embrace the landscape of pre-existing trees while also providing natural light, ventilation, and the impression of living outside with nature. The interior and exterior spaces are closely interlinked, with gardens that surround the house and the materials used for the interior and exterior of the building, such as wood, concrete, glass, and stone. With an organic modern interior design style; nature-inspired shapes, organic textures, and rustic elements, OHOUSE offers unique spatial experiences with each room having a different experience with nature.

BEFORE The urbanization and de-industrialization of the 20th century left behind a number of empty buildings in cities that were once used for manufacturing and heavy industry. These buildings, which often have large spaces, are actually offering a high potential for reuse into a new different function. Reusing these buildings, helps reduces the cost of construction in terms of demolition and materials, and prevent an abundant construction waste, while also preserve the old historic building from the 20th century.
3D Axonometry of Old Factory
AFTER With that background, this project aims to renovate and transform the former industrial factory into a modern vibrant office. Other than just giving the building a new life, transforming this old industrial building could also give an impact on the economical, environmental, and cultural context.

The building combines a two-storey block and divides the interior into two types of space. The ground floor is intended for the social interaction spaces: meeting rooms, common lounge, dining, etc. while the mezzanine is intended just for the private working space. Connection to light and air are prioritized by transforming the wall into two levels of glass wall, allowing natural light and the good circulation of fresh air to the space.

INTERNSHIP AT AREP SNCF PARIS - BIM MODELER These are digital models I made during my 6-months internship at AREP as an Assistant of BIM Modeler. I took part in 3 projects of different types of building and in different phases of advancement. Thanks to this opening of the field of participation, I was able to carry out several missions and tasks: from the research of the form, the production of the 2D plans to the production of the BIM 3D model on REVIT.

Front elevation of the additional building
The majority of my tasks were about the production of BIM models of SNCF’s industrial buildings. I also created 3D families on REVIT for the big CDG Express project at the Gare de l’Est Paris. For the SNCF project at the ZAC Bercy-Charenton, a 12th Paris Mayor’s project, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in BIM environment.

Throughout these projects, the interopability is visualized through the exchange of informations with other disciplines. My role was also to manage and verify 3D models, to ensure that models and information remain interoperable, which then increase the efficiency of the project.
