UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay is a complex composed of three buildings which together will serve children, women, and cancer patients. I worked predominantly on the outpatient building, designing public spaces and a-typical clinics

for both women and children. I completed this rendering of the women’s waiting area to illustrate my design which sought to carry out a “living room” concept and create a flexible, comfortable area for women and their families.

Site planning diagram showing the connection that the promenade makes between the site and the community

CityLink is a controversial 100,000 square foot social service facility that is being planned for the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati. The West End needs an outlet to support those who are struggling with poverty, drugs, and other

obstacles, and encourage growth in the community as a whole. Through in depth site planning and architecture this project sought to create a dialog between the surrounding area and the facility itself.
