Coach Grandizio “G”

I grew up playing football for legendary coach, Dave Wildonger of William High School of the East Penn Conference, in Southeastern Pennsylvania. As a youth, I played every position before settling in at defensive end for the last three years of my playing career.

After moving to Virginia, I started coaching as an assistant in Fairfax County at Oakton and Lake Braddock High School, primarily on defense at all levels, before coming to Paul VI as the head strength and conditioning coach in 2007.

I fell in love with PVI right away. Along with the principles and values that make our school, the people here are tremendous. Being here for over a decade and coaching multiple sports and students in our strength program, PVI has become home to me. In 2017, I jumped at the opportunity to coach football again and to take over our program.

I reside in the City of Fairfax with my loving wife, Lisa; my beautiful daughter, Giada; and my mini-me, Joey.

Our football program will see continued success because of the strong support from our administration, athletic community, and the hard work of our student athletes. All in!
