2024 Girls Soccer Media Guide Head of School Letter

Dear Girls Soccer Players, Families, Friends and Supporters,
About 400,000 high school girls in the United States play soccer, and here at St. Paul VI Catholic High School we are blessed to cheer on about 55 of those female student-athletes each fall season! Our players excel in the classrooms, on the field, and in our community. What they are asked to do is not easy, and yet our Lady Panthers work tirelessly to hone their soccer skills and share their God-given talents. They do so as a team, upholding the tenets of our Catholic school mission and inspiring the extraordinary in others.
World-renowned soccer star, Mia Hamm, noted, “My coach said I run like a girl, and I said if he ran a little faster he could too.” It is a pleasure to cheer on our student-athletes and share in their joy as they compete. Many thanks to their head coach, Chris Campbell, and all of our assistant coaches, parents, family members, and friends for supporting our girls soccer program. Looking forward to an amazing season as our Lady Panthers continue to grow in grace and wisdom!
Peace and blessings,
Laura Swenson Head of School
