Paws With A Cause® custom-trains four types of Assistance Dogs recognized by the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and certified by Assistance Dogs Internationational (ADI). PAWS also trains Animal Assisted Intervention Dogs (AAI).

Alerts a deaf or hard of hearing client to common sounds and leads them to its source.
Finds help and provides support when a person with epilepsy has a seizure.
Completes everyday tasks for someone with a physical impairment who needs mobility assistance.
Acts as a facilitator to minimize triggers and improve social interactions for a child with autism.
Works with patients of all ages by integrating into their clinical treatment plan in partnership with therapists in hospitals and clinics.
OTHER CANINE CAREERS There are a variety of canine career paths that a dog may follow. Some PAWS Dogs that do not meet the requirements to become an Assistance Dog may be career changed. PAWS works diligently to ensure that they are placed in an environment that best fits their physical abilities and personalities. The following are some examples of canine careers:
