SCHOOL OF ROCK
Following a very successful West End run, Andrew Lloyd Webbers smash hit, Olivier award-winning musical School of Rock has begun its tour across the United Kingdom. The show will be rocking its way to Woking’s New Victoria Theatre from 27 September for one week only, with audiences being able to ‘Stick It To The Man’ before the show then continues its tour around the rest of the country.

This musical reinvention of the hilarious and iconic, hit film School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band – sensationally performed live by the production’s very talented young actors every night with sass, confidence, and roofraising energy! While teaching these pint-sized prodigies what it means to truly rock, Dewey falls for the school’s beautiful, but uptight headmistress, helping her rediscover the wild child within. featured in the film, this high-octane smash hit delivers face-melting guitar riffs and touching romance in equally awesome doses.

With raving five star reviews School of Rock has been described as a “triumph” – The Sunday Times, the “most enjoyable few hours money can buy” – The Daily Telegraph and “a feel good experience with a hint of anarchic wildness” – Evening Standard.
Get ready for a head-banging good time at the New Victoria Theatre when School of Rock storms in to Woking this September. n

We offer pupils the opportunity to visit the dairy cow barn and get up close to the resident award-winning Jersey herd. If that wasn’t exciting enough, pupils can also see the robot milking parlour in action. Available to school groups of up to 30 students, we offer a choice of three themed programmes, including Woodland Adventure, Pond Explorer and Dairy Cow Discovery. Each theme has been expertly crafted by education professionals to offer the perfect blend of learning and enjoyment.
