Christmas Family Theatre at Farnham Maltings

Key Players returns to the Maltings this Christmas with a bold and imaginative amateur adaptation of J.M.Barrie’s ‘Peter Pan’. Filled with puppetry and pirates, mermaids and magic, fairies and fighting, lost boys and crocodiles, this is the stunning original story of the boy who could fly. Featuring a talented cast of adults and children, ‘Peter Pan’ is set to be a thrilling theatrical treat for audiences young and old this Christmas (running from Tue 30 November to Fri 03 December).

The Nutcracker is a family favourite at Christmas time and is one of the most delightful ways to introduce children to the enchantment of ballet. The story of Clara, a girl on a magical Christmas Eve adventure, is accompanied by sparkling music and even dancing sweets! Watch the full company of The Royal Ballet, accompanied by The Orchestra of The Royal Opera House, in this much-loved ballet classic on the big screen at Farnham Maltings. The screening takes place on Sun 12 December at 2pm in the Great Hall. Maltings’ favourite timetravelling magicians, Morgan & West are bringing their Great Big Christmas Magic Show to the Maltings from Sun 19 December to 24 December (suitable for all ages 5+). A tortoise sick of bickering on this topic volunteers to race him and Hare learns an important lesson.
