Outdoor Education
Outdoor education is an important part of the Pymble learning experience. Girls have remarkable opportunities for experiential learning, understanding and building knowledge through learning by doing, and through exposure to natural environments.
Pymble’s iconic Vision Valley outdoor retreat at Arcadia is set on 90 acres of land bordering the Berowra Valley National Park, just 45 minutes away from the College. Here, girls take part in fun, uplifting and challenging activities to expand their physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual selves. In both Year 7 and 8, students will have the opportunity to participate in an Outdoor Education program which offers students the opportunity to experience individual challenge through a range of adventurous activities. Through these programs, girls learn to take positive risks and develop outdoor skills in a natural environment requiring initiative, resilience and an awareness of others.
