PREPARATORY SCHOOLSENIOR SCHOOL
Hello Girls! By now you would have received a copy of Dr Hadwen's letter confirming an updated Return to Campus plan. Hopefully this answers many of your questions! So, what does this mean for you?
WEEK 3 Please remember that if you are feeling unwell, you are advised to stay home. If you become unwell during the day, please report to the Senior School Office.
Year 12

Tuesday All on campus
Wednesday All on campus
Thursday All on campus
Friday All on campus
• You will all return to campus on Monday 11 May. • In Period 1 please go to your normal classroom and set up your laptop to participate in a Year Assembly through Microsoft Teams. This will run until 8.40am. You can then link in with your English teacher for the rest of Period 1. • On both Monday and Tuesday you will be learning via Pymble Online. All your classes will take place in your timetabled rooms. Some room changes will be sent to you, as all classes will take place in the Kate Mason Building on these two days. • Face-to-face teaching with your teacher will resume on Wednesday 13 May in your normal, timetabled classrooms. • Year 12 flexible leave has been extended to a late start if you have a scheduled
Prep lesson (parental permission required).

Thursday All on campus
Friday All on campus
• You will all return to campus on Thursday 14 May to resume face-to-face teaching in your regular scheduled classrooms. • In Period 1 on Thursday 14 May please go to your normal classroom and set up your laptop to participate in a Year Assembly through Microsoft Teams. This will run until 8.40am. You can then link in with your regular teacher for the rest of Period 1. What will be the same? • You can see your friends and staff in person (Yay!). • You will move from class to class following your timetable. • When on campus, your timetable and lesson length will be a normal five-period day with recess and lunch breaks. • We will have Connect in person (except for Year 12 on Monday 11 and
Tuesday 12 May). • You will wear immaculate winter uniform (no excuses that things are in the wash!)
Please use this week before returning to ensure your uniform is the right length, no jewellery, fake nails etc... • Year 12 – your allocated area for recess and lunch is the Marden Lawn. (In case of wet weather, you will be in the Kate Mason Building). These areas should be used for Prep lessons too, weather permitting. • Year 11 – your allocated area for recess and lunch is the Mollie Dive Lawn. (In case of wet weather, you will be in the Main Hall). These areas should be used for Prep lessons too, weather permitting. • You are not permitted to spend lunch and recess inside. • Please bring a towel to sit on the grass so that you can enjoy the lovely winter sun.
PREPARATORY SCHOOL What will be different?
TRANSPORT • We ask that you avoid being dropped on campus to help manage congestion.
Please be dropped at Grandview Street at the station and walk from the station wherever possible. Don't gather at the station in groups – please make your way directly to school. Be mindful to avoid touching railings and other high-touch areas/fittings. • If you are driving to school, please ensure that you park on the College side of Avon Road. This will avoid that area becoming congested with heavy traffic. • On arrival, there will be sanitiser stations at Sufferance Path and other gates.
Please use these. Sanitiser and tissues will be available in all classrooms and offices. Please use them.
LOCKERS • No access in Weeks 3 and 4. • Pack light. Leave your valuables at home or hand them in to the Office if you need them for some reason. • You should keep your bag with you at all times.
CHANGES TO ROOMS • All students are required to be off campus by 4.00pm every day. This includes the Conde Library and the Kate Mason Building. Likewise, the late study sessions in the Kate Mason Building will also not be available. This is to allow for a daily thorough cleaning process. • Please do not use the Cisco Room, the seminar rooms in the Kate Mason Building or the Conde Library. These rooms are being used by staff members who need to practise physical distancing.
CATERING • No Boarders’ lunches or cafés will be available Week 3. We are exploring expanding the Middle School Lunch on the Run program, which involves pre-ordered sandwiches and fruit; however, you are advised to bring your own food and drink.
SENIOR SCHOOL
• The sandwich toastie machines and microwaves will not be available in the Senior
School Lounge to avoid large crowds building up. • Bring a water bottle. Our water bubblers will be closed but water filling stations will be available. • From Week 4 onwards, every Friday will be an opportunity to wear appropriate mufti. • You are asked to strictly adhere to social distancing. This will be challenging, particularly for the huggers among us, but it is one of the conditions of a safe return to campus. • Wherever possible you are asked to maintain safe distance from anyone else on campus. Furniture will be spaced in rooms and common areas, please don't move anything. • Please also remember the importance of maintaining social distance with staff members. • If you see a cleaner, say thank you! They are working tirelessly to keep us all safe. • If you have an appointment, you will sign out at the Office as usual, but your parents will need to collect you from Gate 3. • For those of you unable to be on campus, online learning options will remain available. • If you have any questions, please post them below and I'll answer them ASAP. I'm feeling anxious about the return to campus, can you help me? Some girls may be anxious about returning to campus and so our Counselling team has put together an age appropriate video that you might find useful to watch. We are so excited to see you soon!
