TUNDRA BUGGY ® LODGE AT POLAR BEAR POINT 6 DAYS

Day 1: Winnipeg On arrival in Winnipeg, transfer independently to the hotel before a brief evening orientation. Overnight in Winnipeg. Day 2: Winnipeg to Churchill Take an early chartered flight to the remote community of Churchill. Upon arrival enjoy a town and area tour, a visit to the Parks Canada Visitor Centre and the Itsanitaq Museum, and a dog sledding excursion. Overnight in Churchill.

Day 3: Churchill to Tundra Buggy ® Lodge (BLD) There’s ample free time to discover Churchill’s personality this morning. In the afternoon, transfer to the Tundra Buggy ® launch site, board a Tundra Buggy ® and journey to the Tundra Buggy ® Lodge accommodation. Stay the next two nights at the Tundra Buggy ® Lodge at Polar Bear Point. Day 4: Tundra Buggy ® Lodge (BLD) After breakfast, enjoy a full day Tundra Buggy ® Adventure in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area – home of Polar bears, Arctic foxes, ptarmigan and other unique Arctic wildlife. Evenings will be spent dining on delicious home cooked meals, enjoying presentations and socialising. If weather conditions are right, there may be the opportunity to view the Northern Lights.

Day 5: Tundra Buggy ® Lodge to Churchill (BL) Enjoy another day aboard the Tundra Buggy ® before being transferred to Churchill Airport for the flight back to Winnipeg. Be transferred to the hotel for check in. Overnight in Winnipeg.

Day 1: Winnipeg On arrival at Winnipeg Airport, be transferred by taxi to the hotel. Overnight in Winnipeg. Day 2: Winnipeg to Churchill (BD) After breakfast, be transferred to the airport for the flight to Churchill. Embark on a Cultural and Heritage Tour to explore various historic sites. Stay the next four nights at Lazy Bear Lodge, Winnipeg. Day 3: Churchill (BL) Enjoy a full day boat tour in anticipation of viewing Polar bears along the coast of Hudson Bay and other local river estuaries. These magnificent creatures can be seen swimming in the water or cooling off on the rocks. Day 4: Churchill (B) Take to the waves again on a three hour boat tour in search of the ivory-coloured Beluga whales. Also included in the excursion is a walking tour of the historic Prince of Wales Fort, giving a taste of the region’s past days. Day 5: Churchill (B) Embark on any postponed or optional tours requested that were not able to be taken earlier during your stay due to weather or other factors.

Day 6: Churchill to Winnipeg (BL) On a three hour Arctic Crawler ™ Tundra Tour this morning, experience the beauty of the tundra, the flora and fauna and possibly various wildlife in the comfort of a specially constructed all-terrain vehicle. Afterwards, be transferred to Churchill Airport for the return flight to Winnipeg and be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Winnipeg.

Day 7: Winnipeg (B) Be transferred by taxi to Winnipeg Airport this morning.
