WELCOME TO THE QUEENSLAND CONSERVATORIUM PERFORMANCE SEASON FOR 2015...
As Australia’s most comprehensive Conservatoire, we showcase the work of our outstanding faculty, talented students, notable alumni and distinguished guest artists in a smorgasbord of performances. Throughout the year, our audiences will witness the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra in full flight – under the direction of Maestro Johannes Fritzsch - and the Conservatorium Opera School in May and August. Our Musical Theatre students present almost 100 performances, including the classic A Chorus Line, alongside Blood Brothers and Rent. You’ll be charmed by new work, fascinated by jazz and intrigued by music technology. World music also features with performances of music from Java and Brazil; and don't miss our new series, Amazing Women. The season concludes with a celebration of our year’s work in the Conservatorium Gala Concert. We invite you to join us for a year of exuberant music making!
