Welcome to the Shades of Red & White Sale We have assembled a striking set of Charolais, Herefords and Shorthorn heifers and steers for the calf-buying public in this first sale. It’s pretty exciting to know that it’s easy to find such good individuals of these three breeds. We, at Kanza Cattle, have been in the purebred cattle business for 5 generations and grew up amongst production sales. All of our consignors have the future of their breeds in their best interests. Terms of Sale: Cash or check (with pre-registered information at sale clerk’s counter). All purchases will be required to be settled for on the day of the sale, PRIOR to release. NO animal will be transferred until payments are cleared. Location of the Sale: Clay Center Livestock Auction facility on the west end of Clay Center, Kansas on Highway 24, south side. Viewing of Cattle: Available for viewing Sunday morning ahead of sale that begins at 1 p.m. CST. Sale Day Phones: Lori cell: 785-313-6565; Audrey cell: 785-479-7468. Clay Center Salebarn office: 785-6325566. Phone bids only can be done with pre-arranged financing. All funds must be presented at the Sale. Rules of the Sale: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer shall settle any or all disputes. Any announcements made from the auction block shall take precedence over any printed material in the catalog. Registration: Each heifer’s registration paper will be transferred to the new owner. New steer owners will need to indicate if they want a breed steer certificate. These will be transferred at seller’s expense. Buyers will need to complete “Transfer Info” cards with the Sales Clerk when settling for cattle purchased. Health: All cattle are current on vaccinations within 60 days of sale. Liability: All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. Each owner, Kanza Cattle sales manager and the Clay Center Livestock auction company assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accident which may occur. Lunch: The sale barn café will be open at 11 a.m. There are also other food services nearby.
