Down London Road by Samantha Young

OVERVIEW Johanna Walker is used to taking charge. But she’s about to meet someone who will make her lose control.... It has always been up to Johanna to care for her family, particularly her younger brother, Cole. With an absent father and a useless mother, she’s been making decisions based on what’s best for Cole for as long as she can remember. She even determines what men to date by how much they can provide for her brother and her, not on whatever sparks may—or may not—fly. But with Cameron MacCabe, the attraction is undeniable. The sexy new bartender at work gives her butterflies every time she looks at him. And for once, Jo is tempted to put her needs first. Cam is just as obsessed with getting to know Jo, but her walls are too solid to let him get close enough to even try. Then Cam moves into the flat below Jo’s, and their blistering connection becomes impossible to ignore. Especially since Cam is determined to uncover all of Jo’s secrets…even if it means taking apart her defenses piece by piece.

REVIEWS She's done it again!!! By Kristi I loved this story as much as On Dublin Street! Cam is sexy as hell and the love story between Jo and Cam is wonderful! Ohhhh and their is no cliffhanger! Yay! Fantastic read! I cannot wait till Olivia and Nate's story! Thank you Ms. Young for another incredible read!!!

What an amazing book. 5-Stars for sure By you can call me Lynn What a great book. Made me mad, made me cry, and made me happy. To me, that is an awesome book. I loved On Dublin Street and Now love Down London Road just as much. This is the story of Jo, who is a co-worker of Joss's from Club 39. Jo is the girl that goes for the guys that help take care of her, generally older and wealthy. She is out with current boyfriend Malcolm, at a friend of his art show. Becca is an ex of Malcolms, and also an artist, but Jo and Joss think it sucks. Jo is waiting on Malcolm when all of a sudden she feels the hair on the nape of her neck stand, and she feels someone near looking at her. She looks and her breath hitches and her eyes meet the most gorgeous man. Even Joss thinks so. He has tattoos and the bad boy appearance and she knows that he is not her type. Come to find out, he is the boyfriend of the artist Becca's. Jo gets Cam a job at the bar and instantly have a hate/love/hate relationship. They are both attracted, but have others. They must deny their feelings because neither of them would ever cheat. This is a great story about not relying on first impressions and being yourself. Cam knows that is more to Jo than a gold-digger and fake person some people thinks she is. She is keeping secrets and trying to support & take care of her family. I love the relationship Cam has with Cole, the mentor & older brother that he needs.
