Lago Di Landro
The Dolomites (Italy)The Dolomites, simply uttering the name would drive any outdoor enthusiast goes nuts. This UNESCO Heritage site located in the northern Italian Alps features some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes anywhere, with vertical walls, sheer cliffs and a high density of narrow, deep and long valleys. The story behind the photo started last winter, when my friends and I made the decision to embark on a long road journey from Milan. We are all masters students at Politecnico di Milano in the fields of architecture and engineering, thus some fresh air and a change of landscape were ideal after the exams period. Lago di Landro or also called in German “Dürrensee” offered us the first of many spectacular views of what was to come.
Roman Ruins
Baalbek (Lebanon)
The existence of Roman temple ruins in Lebanon is not widely known. During the Roman era, the city of Baalbek reached its pinnacle. It is one of the most well-known Roman sanctuaries and a prime example of Imperial Roman architecture thanks to its enormous structures, which were created over more than two centuries.
Biophilic Path
Waikato (New Zealand)One of the most wonderful things you can do in New Zealand is take a road trip across its breathtaking scenery. It’s both the most effective and most affordable way to experience New Zealand. It is practical and simple to have a mobile house that you can use to travel wherever you desire. As a result, I must say that the colours are unlike anything I have ever seen. They appear a lot more vibrant and almost artificial. Green is New Zealand dominant colour with countless of different shades, from the iconic silver fern to the giant kauri trees of North Island or the sparse greenery of Central Otago, in South Island.
Sea-Doo Waves Motion
Did you know? Mediterranean Sea is oligotrophic which means there is a lack of nutrients required by algae to grow. Thus, the water’s top layer is better able to absorb and scatter sunlight and keep a vibrant blue appearance. Capturing those jet skis going through the motion of the waves from the sky was pretty unique.
Mediterranean Sunset
Is there anything more peaceful then taking in the quiet beauty of the setting sun? Whether you’re sitting on the beach, hiking in the mountains, or even relaxing in a rocking chair on your own front porch, watching a breathtaking sunset never gets old.
Canopy
Deir-el-Qamar (Lebanon)The biophilia hypothesis is the idea that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life. Nothing makes me happier than being in the forest canopy, which is a forest’s top layer and is made up of the tree crowns.
Road to the Alps
The Dolomites (Italy)
There are no shortcuts to any place worth going. If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere. Terrain can be on a variety of surfaces, including rugged single-track trails, uneven gravely surfaces, and scree slopes, and are often steep. Hiking is a physical and at times emotional challenge, but you experience the most gratifying, unique and memorable experience of your life once at the top.
