The proposed infills adding density and diversity into the exsited urban fabric. The new green area provides ecologic and economic advantage to the city.
The new green area is subdivided by the vertical landscape elements, such as tree canopy, ha-ha wall and retention ponds. These elements also physically framing the various spaces for different programs.
INDIAN CREEK MIAMI, FL Sustainable Urban Design Practice 2012 The site is located in Miami, Florida, the current population is 33. The village has a total area of 0.4 square miles, surrounded by water. The goal is to create a self-sustainable village for 3000 residents. The Urban farm/recreational trail idea is playing an important role in this project, which provides a revolutionary life style to the community.
B R I C K E L L B AY MIAMI, FL Downtown Real Estate Development 2012 The site is along the bay side of Brickell financial district in Miami, surrounded by high-rise residential and hotel towers. Combined with feasibility study, this mix-used Tower provides a new investment opportunity, and it also enhance the public space by the water.

MINNEAPOLIS MN The ULI/Gerald D. Hines Student Urban Design Competition The Hines Competition challenges multidisciplinary student teams to devise a comprehensive development program for a real, large-scale site. Teams of five students representing at least three disciplines have two weeks to develop solutions that include drawings, site plans, tables, and market-feasible financial data.

CENTRE POINTE L E X I N G TO N , K Y Downtown Mixed-use Development 2 0 11 The site is located in the central area of downtown Lexington, surrounded by a complicated urban condition. The main goal is to create an appropriate area to present the urban life, while improving the downtown identity.
PROBLEM & POTENTIAL Various activities and events happening throughout the year in different area around downtown Lexington. The targeted site located by the City Hall, where is one of the most popular spot for local people, artists, and tourists. The site also had flood history because of the location.
SITE ANALYSIS
Town branch creek flows underneath the commercial corridor in Lexington, coming to the surface on the west side of downtown area. The site sitting at the intercross of commerial corridor and historical area, surrounded by main traffic lines and existed open spaces.

T
he site divided to 4 main functional area based on different charactors of the surrounding.
The open lawn area facing the north side is revealing the City Hall and other historical architectures, it allows people to have better preception of downtown Lexington.
The west side street is closed for pedestrians, outdoor cafes, as well as for local events.
The south side is a new attraction spot in order to continue the energy from the north. By adding the street median, crossing Vine street to the south side become more pleasent.

A mixed-use building sitting on the east side, provides multifunctional spaces for r e t a i l , o ff i c e s , h o t e l a n d parking. It also frames the proposed open space and the existed civic space.

nspired from public art sound installation at the Financial Center Tower by Bill Fontana. Town branch walk is a new gethering spot connected the surrended blocks, it serves as a local story telling site by revealing the history of underground town branch. It also provides a cooperation opportunity for the city and local artists.
