Planning The first platform is the gound floor, which is 5 meter above the sea level to prevent flood and sea level rise in 50 years in the future. And we turn the gound su rface into natural land, some of which are sponge park. This would help clean up the polluted water and deal with the flood. The second platform is the walk level, we raised it 20 meters above the ground level, which is for prevent flooding and sea level rise in 200 years in the future. And this platform is connecting most of the buildings and plazas in the city. The final platform is the massive “sky bridge”, which serves as both walk path and the communal space.

Energy Gain Efficiency This project goal was to achieve the net-zero concept. In order to do this, we adapted two newable energy, which are solar and tidal. Since the tidal range is not significant in this area, solar energy became our main energy resource. The building was shaped and oriented by the maximum heat gain from the sun, so the envelope design is the most important key to our project.
