USE IN THE NIGHT
TAKING KIDS Because of the small rear wheel, this bicycle is easy for kids themselves to climb on. Kid sitting in the backseat can put their feet together on the foot holder instead of two sides of the wheel, so it's safer and more comfortable. Then, if necessary, the angel of the awning can be adjusted to protect kid from rain and sunlight. The parents don't have to help the kids.

MARKET SHOPPING When kid grown up, the family no longer needs the bike to carry the kid. Parents can change the backseat into a bike basket, through twining the bingding tape around the railing and seat. Normally the bike baskets are fixed on the head parts, but heavy articles will hinter the control of the handlebar. Changing the backseat into a basket will make the riding more stable and easier.

COMPOSITION AND MATERIAL OF CONTROLLER The controller connects with wireless technology. At the head of the controller is a display screen to show the playing proceeding. At the bottom of the controller has earphone jack, so that user can watch TV individually without disturbing roommates. There are three strip magnets covered with anti-skidding rubber on the back of the controller, so that it can be holded on the power charge.

RESEARCH ABOUT POST90‘S We find that post 90's will be the main fridge purchasers in the next few years,most of them are the only child. They are precocious,with critical spirit, very easy to accept the new things. CONCLUSION The fridge that can attracts post 90’s should have large interior space, use high technology and be multi-functional. Of course, they need something looks simple, cool and fashion.We should design a fridge that is not only a fridge, but also a newer, cooler lifestyle.
IDEA To design a fridge indicating a fashionable and health lifestyle, we investigated many pieces of furniture such as armoire and shoes cabinet. We found that furniture as simple as a magic cube was very popular among the youngs. What's more, the young people often go out carrying a lot of food and drinks, some of them prefer using a vehicle fridge in their cars. So we planned to design a movable fridge which is combined with draw-bar box.
COSMETICS AND MEDICINE The top right corner of the fridge is for chemicals such as cosmetics and medicine, because it is better to keep this kind of things away from food.

Cooperation with LEAF REPUBLIC GMBH I cooperated with the leaf republic GmbH from Munich. They manufacture the leaf-tableware to replace the disposable plastic- or paper tableware. Their product is the "Sandwich-Form" tableware, which made of three layers: leaves+leafpaper+leaves. These three layers are pressed together through thermoforming (hot steam and high pressure). No synthetical additives, no coloring, no glue – and no tree has been cut. The leaves grow three times a year. Additionally, the tableware is biodegradable in only 28 days. Leaf republic GmbH supplied me the material: leaves and leaf-paper as well as the technology-support: thermoforming. I found the application for the leaftableware, extended the product line and designed new products and structures.

material-test: leaves The leaves come from a kind of climbing plant. The front side of the leaves is green and smooth. The back side is brown. The surface of the back side is covered with fuzz. When the leaves are dry and bent, the leaves break immediately. However, if the leaves are damped for a short while, they become very soft and flexible. You can fold them many times.

LEAVES material-test: leaf-paper About 50% of the leaf-paper is made from leaves-waste from the production. The paper is very flexible and waterproof, it can be folded like normal paper, but at the same time many crumbs are produced.

TAB APPLICATIOn: burger-box After research, analysis and discussion I decided to design a burger-box for leaf republic GmbH. The CEO of leaf republic GmbH has contact with bugerrestaurant. Burgers are consumed all over the world. The company thus has many opportunities to sell Burger boxes. The burger box can be made of only leaves and leaf-paper. Structure The lid is pushed on the sides and the two tabs slide through the holes, closing the box. I make the lid flexible, but the base stable. One material, two properties. LID The lid is more flexible with large 2D surfaces and fewer structural lines. When pressing the leaf-plate, the three layers along the edge are separated. That's why I put embossing on the tabs. BASE The base is robust and rigid with small 3D surfaces and triangular structure lines. The octagons are turned by 22.5 degrees. The corners are connected together. Triangles are created which support the stability. Then I put a big radius on the edges. STACKING With the concave shape of the base and the convex shape of the lid, the boxes can be stacked on top of one another.

BACKGROUND We design an info-robot for a TUM start up company. This Robot will be used in a switzerland private hospital for visiters or patients to get Information. The purpose is to improv service and reduce stress of staff. FIRST PROTOTYPE This start up has already started first robot prototype. The main function are navigation and greeting. There is a projector in robot's head to project the face. Above the eyes, two cameras track user's face. The robot can turn left, right or look up and down. Because the language recognition ability is still bad. There is 50 % possibility, that robot can not understand people. So the touchpad is a fallback strategy for this Situation. PROBLEM We found some problem in this first prototype. The touchpad can not change angle. That means, it doesn't fit people of different height. The most of electrical component are placed in head, that makes head very heavy, so it wil be a problem for neckstructure.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT Because there is 50 % possibility, that robot can not understand people. We want to people not feel so bad when it happens, so robot will bow and show ashamed manner. At same time it also shows the touchpad to the users, which is on the top of head. Users will naturally and easliy fokus on touchpad. By this way can robot adjust the angle of the touchpad for different size of people.

FACE We have tried different styles of faces to see which one is suitable for the robot. We have tried Disney style, Southpark style, japanese comic style, human's face and so on. At last we choosed emoji style. People will not have freaky feeling like real human's face. It's also easy to understand for different age and different culture. In addition the eyes of robot are blue, inherit from the first generation. Blue eyes also make robot looking smarter.

When the light project on the body, shadow and light will alternate. At the same time, reflect the light to the room. DESCRIPTION The light looked as if it were two fishes playing in the air. The bigger one coordinates with the smaller one, and giving us a unique lightning show through the reflection between them.
REFLECTION The light is reflected by the board on the top, avoid the discomforts caused by seeing the LED directly. At the same time, part of thr reflected light is projected on the body of the lamp and creates the wave-patterns on it. The pattern will change from different angles.
