IB Diploma Programme
The IB Diploma Programme is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations and assessments that prepare students, success at university and life beyond. The programme is taught over two years and has gained a reputation for its rigorous external assessment with published global standards, making this a qualification welcomed by universities worldwide. The award of the diploma requires candidates to study six subjects, a programme core, community action service hours, a 4000 word extended essay, as well as to score at least 24 points on internal and external assessments. These are the candidates in the IB Diploma Programme.
