C Auliflower G Nocchi With M Ushroom Sauce
Ingredients: n 2 cups steamed cauliflower florets n 1 cup flour n a pinch of salt n 1 Tbsp. olive oil n 5 cups boiling water
Doris is a vegan chef and longtime resident of West Hollywood. Born in Vienna, Austria, Doris grew up in Ecuador and came to West Hollywood in 1957, and never left! After working in the movie industry for many years, she started a vegan catering company and starred in her own cooking show on the local television station for ten years. Doris’ recipes are easy to follow, and you can find most of the ingredients at the Helen Albert Certified Farmers’ Market on Mondays, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Directions:
Mash the cauliflower in a bowl. Add the flour and salt to the mashed cauliflower and mix well. Rub some olive oil on your hands while you form the cauliflower into small balls in the shape of gnocchi. Add the gnocchi into boiling water for five minutes. Remove from water and smother with mushroom sauce. Enjoy!
M Ushroom Sauce
Ingredients: n 3/4 pound sliced white mushrooms n 1 Tbsp. olive oil n 5 green onions, sliced very fine (including green) n 2 cups plain unsweetened almond milk n a pinch paprika n salt and white pepper to taste

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and add the onions and mushrooms, sauté until tender, add the almond milk, paprika, salt and pepper and heat until warmed. Add sauce to the gnocchi and serve.
