Les dessous de Pennautier AVEC F.HENRY & M. NOUHEN
Pennautier Castle is a major part of the nation’s heritage because of its architecture and its garden. Keeping in mind this essential link, it was intended to create a continuity with Le Notre’s garden all the while keeping the connection between the castle and the land. The reflection about the impact of a volume built in this place was the starting point of our approach. The prints realised on the surface echo Michael Heizer’s work, «Landart» artist. A smooth circulation serves a functionnal repartition around some patios and allows a dialogue between the overground and underground levels. The inside path is animated by the zenithal light and the different elements decorating the empty spaces. The immaterial link created by the perpetual mouvement of the fountains, in the central patio, connects the Pennautier castle with the underground.

Once finished, the printing unity is moved away to a new project. Houses can evolute with the inhabitants needs (add a room / a floor ...) 9
Global warming implies several changes within the world, nature and inhabitat. This heat made by atmospheric pollution grows since the industrial revolution. Tho whole way of living and producting brings insalubrity at the scale of the planet, the atmosphere and the ocean.
processings like 3D printing brings new answers to this stake. Using those becomes a plus when talking about today’s environment.
Making a new raw material from waste is the point in this project. Mens need a clean environment to blossom in it. Environemental friendly school
As a new neighbourhood grows in Montpellier, it needs an elementary school to increase its potential of welcoming families. This eco friendly project aims to decrease its energy consumption by using a specific design. While disepearing by going in the ground on the north face, the south side is seen as a point of view on the landscape, overlooking the road. The two playgrounds are separated by the build entities wich gathers the classrooms.

They take advantage of a double exposure in order to increase the light quality during the day. Common spaces as sport facilities, cafeteria, sleeping room and library positions themselves along the retaining wall. Thanks to zenithal apertures, they always welcome the sun from the north wich provides a controled and non agressive light. The corridor makes the link between the entrace (on the east side), the commun spaces and the classrooms.

Eight houses on the hill
Established in Calce (66 600, France), the project inteds to respond to the demographic expension of a 400 inhabitant village. The privileged localisation of the hill (scenery and protection from the prevailing winds) was chosen in order to connect the historical centre to the new community hall located to the south-east of the village.

The accomodation was designed to take into account the seasonal thermal variations. The bedrooms benefit from a second natural light source The eight houses follow the site’s natural curve through the roof light. and do not impede the view of the hill nor impact
