Our industry expert staff are here to help students as they build rewarding and dynamic careers across areas of Cookery, Hospitality, Management, and Leadership.

Our training is designed to empower students with the skills to be leaders in the hospitality industry. Post graduation, with support from our Industry Engagement Team, QCA has seen exceptionally high rates of employment. Employers are provided with highly skilled individuals who are prepared to work. Our unique partnership with Hospitality Jobs Australia assists both our international and domestic students in securing work and placement.

ROCKPOOL BAR & GRILL

Rockpool Bar & Grill Sydney is Australia’s most beautiful dining room. Situated in the sensational City Mutual Building, a 1936 Emil Sodersteen designed American style art deco skyscraper, the dining style is simple and uncomplicated.

A program of this kind requires careful stewardship and committed, strong leadership. Culinary Director Corey Costelloe has been with Rockpool Bar & Grill since the restaurant opened in Sydney in 2009.

BATHERS PAVILION

Located in front of the iconic Balmoral Beach, Bathers Pavilion can provide the perfect setting for your next event, whether a large celebration or an intimate cocktail party. Placing second in the 2020 Sydney Interior Awards, it is styled to perfection along with the picturesque location.

Whether large or small, our spaces are perfect for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, bar mitzvahs, wakes, and more.

STRATHFIELD GOLF CLUB

The Strathfield Golf Club has undergone a major redevelopment, which saw recognition from a popular Golfing Magazine, as one of the best new clubhouses in the world. The spectacular building is a hidden oasis encompassed by the lush fairways of the golf course. The clubhouse features a member's lounge, sports lounge, casual dining area, cafe, gaming lounge, event centre, and an abundance of alfresco areas, all with panoramic views.

NOVOTEL OLYMPIC PARK

Sydney Olympic Park is home to some of Australia’s best attractions and activities, as well as being extremely popular with concertgoers and fans attending sporting games.

The Dean Group of Hotels is a family owned and operated group of five hotels. Having purchased the London Tavern in January 2001, the Walkers Arms Hotel in July 2002, the Largs Pier Hotel in November 2004, the Mac’s Hotel in May 2010, and the Peninsula Hotel Motel (formerly the Boathouse Tavern) in 2020 the Dean Group has been around for many years.

THE CREMORNE

Legend has it that back in 1854, the original owners of The Cremorne Hotel installed a small zoo in the rear tea gardens for the amusement of the patrons.

Executive Chef Jason Chalmers's passion is contagious, and his dedication to sourcing excellent products is a story all of its own.

Alongside his polished team of equally passionate chefs, Jason has lovingly curated a menu with a subtle nod to modern Australian cuisine.

STRATHMORE HOTEL

Located in the heart of the action, opposite Sky City Casino and the Convention Centre, this family owned pub has recently completed a stunning 14-month renovation. It now boasts an all weather bar and restaurant.

Developing young staff and promoting from within is one of our key mantras, so we love to recruit enthusiastic young talent who can grow within our organization.

Our Industry Engagement Team are our "go to" staff members for when our students need assistance in finding a venue to complete their placements or if they are seeking advice on employment.

Our Industry Engagement Officers support our students in Work Integrated Learning (WIL). Michaela and Jeff have extensive knowledge and experience working in the hospitality industry.
