Welcome to the Quarry Theatre summer season. As we head towards our fourth birthday we will be bringing to you a wide range of events that we hope will appeal to all tastes! Look out for the return of the Dad’s Army Radio Show bringing three brand new episodes from the classic sitcom we all know and love. Bedford School’s very own Boycott Theatre Company return with a production of Brainstorm. A unique theatrical investigation into how teenagers’ brains work, and why they are designed by evolution to be the way they are. TV celebs take over at the end of May with CBBC’s Sam & Mark gracing our stage (soon to be presenting CrackerJack!) and, of course Angus Deayton (Have I Got News For You, One Foot In The Grave). Micheal Fenton Stevens, Philip Pope and Helen Atkinson Wood will accompany him in their comedy show Radio Active. Summertime is festival time so do take a look at this year’s Creative Arts Festival line-up. This year it will run for two weeks from various venues on the school site. The Bedford Festival Fringe is with us once again bringing a record breaking 150 events over 13 days from 5 venues! You will find the full Bedfringe programme at www.bedfringe.com. Many thanks once again for your continued support of our theatre and I hope you enjoy the season ahead. Remember to check the website occasionally as this printed programme can be subject to change.
