Blue Mountains In this natural wonderland of untamed bushland, observe spectacular rock formations and flourishing native wildlife. Just two hours by train or car from Sydney, the Blue Mountains get their name from the natural blue haze created by vast eucalyptus forests in this World Heritage area.
