I. Merry Go Round
II. The Waiting Room
III. In the End Nothing Matters
The Summerfolk Piano Suite is a 3 movement work inspired by various themes and dramatic idioms developed during my time working on the Griffith acting department's production of Maxim Gorky's Summerfolk. They represent an overarching musical commentary on the themes presented in the play: the cyclic nature of modern lifestyles, the mundanity of life in upper echelons and the lack of actuality inherit in something which may be given unnecessary importance.
Today's graduating concert features the premiere of the first and third movements, Merry Go Round and In The End Nothing Matters, performed by Remington Raymond.

"Boss Fight" is the third and final movement from a larger work titled, "RPG for Wind Orchestra". The piece takes inspiration from the original soundtrack of "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky" with some Western contemporary classical twists. In this boss fight, the little band of unexpected heroes have engaged a mystical enemy with overwhelming powers. This decisive battle will determine the fate of our heroes and the world they protect.

SONAR PERFORMERS:
Written in 2019. Sonar is a piece inspired by the oceans. For the majority of my childhood, I have been surrounded by the ocean. Through this exposure, emerged a great passion and connection. Sonar explores the immense nature of our oceans. Their tranquil and calming qualities. Exploring the dimensions of these great seas. The soundscape of this readapted piece attempts to take you beneath the tumbling waves into a pastoral world of life beneath the surface

HIGHROTATION
High Rotation is a piece I wrote towards the end of last year, which explores the sounds of Latin Jazz music. Whilst initially written for a small ensemble last year, this is its first live performance.
