Prenatal Exercise Program with Laura Geitz
Things have just gotten a little busier for our lovely brand ambassador, Laura Geitz, who has become a Mum again for the third time to their little princess, Billie May. Congratulations to Laura, Mark, Barney, Frank and of course their four legged girl, Charlie!
During pregnancy Laura was quite active, like all of her pregnancies. Late last year, we teamed up with Laura and Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Tehanee Obeyesekere, from Bodysmart Health to bring our Members who may be expecting now or in the future, a three-part video series of simple prenatal exercises.
It is important to keep your body moving during pregnancy as your body moves and changes a lot. Particularly your lower body including your pelvis, pubic and back area!
Maintaining health and wellbeing during pregnancy can help reduce the pain in these areas, as well as increasing energy, enhancing a positive body image and aiding during post-partum recovery.
Within the series each exercise has been designed to focus on movements appropriate for each trimester. Each video workout is under 30 minutes and allows Members the freedom to work out in the comfort of their own home.
