Lobbying Training On February 4th, 2006 in Hartford, the Connecticut Non-Discrimination Network will be holding a day long training session for lobbying Connecticut legislators on the importance of including Gender Identity and/or Expression in the state’s non-discrimination laws. The primary portion of this training will be provided by Lisa Mottet, Legislative Lawyer for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF). Lisa has been active in both our prior and successful Hate Crime legislative work as well as our current non-discrimination efforts.
