KWgrewupinMadison,CT.Firstheattendedthepublic schoolsinMadison,thenchoseFairfieldPrepforhigh school,andlatergraduated fromEndicottCollege.KW beganhiscareerasfounder andArtisticDirectorof WashedLA,aclothing company.Hisapparelreleases havebeenquicklysellingout sincehestartedthecompany in2016.Washedwashisonly focusupuntilhewas diagnosedwithcanceronthe leftsideofhisface,inthe parotidgland.Aftertwo extensiveandgrueling surgeries,thecancerwas removed.KWspentthenext 18monthsrecoveringinhis
NewYorkapartment.Formany,thiswouldhavesignaled theend,forKWitwasjustthebeginning.Hespentthe greaterpartofthenextyearandahalfawayfromthe world.KWspenteverydaypaintingandcreatingthestyle youseetoday.Hisworkcanbeseeninhomesalloverthe country.Hehasdoneworkforsomeofthebiggestnames inthemusicindustry,includinggrammyawardwinning artistsCardiBandMissyElliott.KWhasalsobeenthe focalpointofmanygalleriesall overtheEastCoast.
