It’s cheaper than live music. You get to listen to the original version of the songs. They can play anything you want. They could also be your MC... SOME QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK THE DJ OR BAND:
What does the price include? How long will they play music for? How many group members will show up? What kind of music they usually play? Does it include lighting? How much do they charge for an extra hour?

THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING THE CAMERA GUY... EXPERIENCE: How long has he/she been doing this? Also, is this his/her full time job or just a hobby? PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE - Fun, formal, artisitic, journalistic, all the above, etc... HONESTY - Is this the photographer that will be photographing your quinceañera or will they send in whomever is available. Don’t be shocked, this happens more often than you can imagine. HIS PERSONALITY - Do you get along with him/her? Is there “chemistry”? If you don’t, it will show in your pictures. APPEARENCE - Ask him/her what will wear the day of the event... NO JEANS PLEASE!!! DELIVERY - How long does he/she take to deliver your album? Believe it or not, some of them take more than a year! CONTRACT - Do you understand the contract? Make sure everything is written. Read it ALL. REFERENCES - A personal reference is always the best and people love to talk. Get a list of references from the photographer and check them out personally. A photographer who doesn’t have references or is afraid to give them to you may not be the person that you want to hire.
Questions to ask to the Photographer How long have you been in business? How many quinceañeras have you shot? What distinguishes your work from that of other photographers? Do you have a portfolio I can review? Can I see your most recent work? What type of equipment do you use? Can I give you a list of specific shots I would like? What information do I need to provide you before the EVENT day? Are you the photographer who will shoot my QUINCE? Do you have backup equipment? Are you photographing other events on the same day as mine? How will you (and your assistants) be dressed? Is it okay if other people take photos while you’re taking photos? How long after I order my photos/album will I get them?
QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOURSELF Do I feel a connection with this photographer? Are our personalities a good match? 10
Am I comfortable with this person’s work and style? JANUARY – JUNE 2012

The food isn’t that high on the “to stress about” list. What is big on that list would be where you are having it at. If you are not very traditional the organizing of a party won’t take much time. MOSTLY B’s You are super social, so it won’t matter where you have it you’ll have fun. You like to be the center of attention and like to have things your way. You are very creative and a theme might be good for you.
58
MOSTLY C’s This has probably been your dream since your were like 5 so here’s a chance to make that dream come true. You’re a dreamer and like things the traditional way. Family is the most important thing to you and you want to have them all be able to be there to share it with you. You want the more traditional things like the father / daughter dance and making some kind of thank you speech.
