Quincy University Professor of Art, Robert Lee Mejer

Several works of Quincy University's professor of art, have been selected for international, national, and statewide exhibitions. Mejer’s watercolor Take PC #4 was selected for inclusion in the international Fabriano in Watercolor 2019 Exhibition, in conjunction with the Art Fabriano in Acquarello Convention in Fabriano, Italy; Mejer’s watercolor Take PC Open Book #2 was selected for inclusion in the 2019 Transparent Watercolor Society of America 43rd Annual Exhibition in Kenosha Wis.; Mejer’s watercolor Pinball was selected for inclusion in the 58th National Exhibition of Watercolor USA in Springfield, Mo.; Mejer’s watercolor Jason’s Delight was selected for inclusion in the 2019 Missouri Watercolor Society International Exhibition in St. Louis Mo.; and Mejer was invited to exhibit his artwork in Pathways to Watercolor, a three-person exhibition at the Springfield Art Association Gallery in Springfield, Ill. Mejer was honored for master watercolorist status which is achieved by acceptance into 10 or more annual juried exhibitions. Mejer also received the $1,000 special merit James McNeill Whistler Award.
