CLOSET TIPS!
A short list of tips on how to optimize your closet: Flip all of your hangers to face the same direction. Every time you wear an item, put it back into your closet with the hanger hook facing the other direction so you know you've worn it. In 3 months you'll have a better of idea of what to donate, consign, or trash. Pair one of your "go-to" pieces with something new. You know that shirt you're wearing every other / every week? Maybe it's time to give it a rest and your colleagues (or significant others) some excitement. Layer a sweater or well tailored blazer on top. Remember: if you buy a piece you can't wear with at least 3 items in your closet, you're not just paying for that blazer, you're paying for the shirt, shoes, and pants to go with that blazer. Have at leasts two white nice dress shirts. Be sure they are free of stains and wrinkles, ready to go at all times. Fix damages sooner than later! Missing buttons, fraying edges, torn seams — take them into a tailor to be repaired. No excuses. Wear and tear looks terrible in public.
