TRIBUTES Dad, How do I say goodbye to a man who has always been a tremendous influence in my life. I always knew you would be there for me. Even when I thought I didn’t need you. You didn’t say much, but you didn’t have to. You were a leader by example. And I will strive to be just like you! If anything, I just wanna thank you. Thank you for being that leader. Thank you for consistently calling me every single Sunday! Even when it was just to check in on me, Roberta and the kids. And also thank you for just being you. I can’t tell you goodbye, I’ll just say that I’ll see you later. - Love, Darren Mr. Howard, Thank you for being a great Father-In-Law and Papa. Since I met you back in 2007; you have been a consistent great person in my life. I appreciate all of our laughs and our love for the same shows. We both were foodies and were always talking about food. Your laugh was contagious, your smile brightened the mood, and your voice was so calming and smooth. I appreciate your weekly phone calls and when we went on trips, they were daily and we love it. Your excitement made us excited! You did a great job being a great Dad to my Bae. We will always love and appreciate you! - Love, Roberta
My Godfather - you are forever loved and dearly missed. We will cherish the memories of your devotion to family, love of sports (and food!), and your positive impact on area youth. I know that you, Eric, my dad, Vernon, and Uncle Eddie are laughing, joking, and talking sports in Heaven. Please know that we love and miss you all so much. - Love always, Vinita
Daddy-O, My protector, my riding buddy, my bank, my first employer, my foodie, my Dad, my heart! You are the greatest example of a real man a daughter could ever ask for! There was never a moment where you weren’t there for me. Even when Mama would fuss at me, you were there to rescue me! I have so many memories, I cannot tell them all. I thought we still had time to create new memories, but God had different plans. One thing I do know is that I miss you so much and I will forever hold you in my heart. I love you Daddy-O! - Love forever and Always, Babygirl Candi
