Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) and they justified his cause with the miracles that they were involved in.
Cave Guardians This is the miracle of the pigeon and spider which comes to us from many different and reliable ways. It is the miracle in which the two pigeons waited in front of the cave where the prophet Muhammad
(Peace
and blessings be upon him) and his loyal friend Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) sheltered like two guardians in order to be safe from the pursuit of polytheists and the spider covering the entrance of the cave with a wonderful thick net.
When one of the prominent figures of Quraish polytheists, Ubayy Ibn Khalaf was proposed by his friends with an offer “Let us enter the cave”, He answered them: “How can we enter? I see a web; it looks as if it was made before the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. There are two pigeons standing there. If there was somebody there, would they stand there?”
At that time the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) was standing in prayer and while Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) watched. Abu Bakr then said to the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him), "Those are your people searching for you. It's not for myself I am sad, but because I might see something terrible might happen to you". The prophet Replied "Abu Bakr don't be afraid God is with us".
The people from Mecca then left without causing harm to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) and his companion Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Afterwards our Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) arrived at the city of Al-Madinah where Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) and his companion Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), were welcomed by all the people there. This journey that prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) took is known as the Hijrah. http://www.SchoolQuran.com
