Each unit has the privacy it requires if differents families stays at the same time. Below the units, a common social area is created, where families can be gathered and enjoy sunsets or sunrises by the pool. This area includes a shared kitchen, a shared bathroom unit, pool area with showers and parking

Developedspace.

Located in the coastal mountains of Salinas Bay, Guanacaste, Villas Copal aims to maximize ocean views in habitable spaces. The idea came by identifying the local assets such as the topo graphy and the 260° view to the bay, which allowed to create 2 independent mirrored duplexs for 4 people each one at the highest possible point on site.

Identification of points of interest on the natural landscape, the island on the southeast side and the volcanoe on the northwest side, dividing the project in two views.

Defining common social area

The generation of in-between spaces as a shared access point to units beco mes naturally protected to sun exposi tion, and the addition of terraces allows units to open the spaces to the ama zing

The intersection of the main entrance direction and prior identified axis, becomes the point of reunion and confluence from exterior to interior.

APT RINCÓN Year: 2022 Total area: 80 m2 Type: residential

The project consisted on a redesign of a existing building in Palmares, Alajuela. The owner was looking for a modern approach design to revitalize the facade, and it was required to minimize the budget the least possible it could be.

Developed the project since design phase, 3D modelling, project visualizations, lead client presentations and currently it’s on drawing phase and budgeting phase.

The intervention needed to demolish a few steel framing walls in order to comply the regulations by local municipality. The topography was complex, therefore it led us to ensure the place’s estability by designing a containing wall.

The unit has a sustraction which becomes the main entrance, that divides two volumes in the facade, maintaining a clear horizontal line thanks to the original roof slope.

interiors was designed to accomodate an integrated social area, the kitchen and living room is combined with the terrace. The private area consists of a main room and a bathroom, while on the other side, a laundry room and a small office is arranged this way to easily connect to the exterior. The terrace is an added bonus, that contributes to maximize natural lighting and ventilation and also ensures an amazing view to the mountains facing south.

CASA VEDI Year: 2021 Total area: 130 m2 Type: residential

Developed the project since design phase, 3D modelling, project visualizations and currently it’s on construction by ARDESA Construction Office in Grecia. Developed in collaboration with ARDESA Design Office.

Residential proposal for a couple in Condominio Alta Brisa, Grecia. The couple were looking to enhace green spaces in between habitable spaces, without compromising private and social areas together.

A clear separation among these social and private areas allowed to create an integrated living room, kitchen and terra ce in the main level, meanwhile private areas such as the main dormitory maintained its own green area in the back patio.

Residential proposal for a family in San Ramón, Alajuela. The main request from the client was to provide a modern facade and interiors high ceilings. We were also requested space for two separete offices for the couple (both worked from house after pandemic hit). The proposal achieves a dynamic approach on volumes, allowing the differents interior spaces connect to the surroun dings to ensure natural lighting and ventilation. Developed the project since design phase, lead client presen tations and did technical architectural and structural drawings in DevelopedRevit. in collaboration with ARDESA Design Office.

CASA C31 Year: 2021 Total area: 173,6 m2 Type: residential Residencial proposal for a family in Condominio Montezuma, ThisGrecia.project was a re-design of an existing architectural propo sal, the challenge was to maintain the same area and the same construction footprint. Also, the original design had a minima listic design, where the client asked for a completely transfor mation into a farmhouse style house. The results were astoni shing, the kitchen and living room area has a connection to an exterior terrace (soon to be added to the design). Developed the project in design phase only. ARDESA Cons truction Office led the construction phase. Developed in collaboration with ARDESA Design Office.

CASA A23 Year: 2020 Total area: 14,6 m2 Type: residential Garage roof addition proposal for a existing house in Condo minio Alta Brisa, Grecia. The main goal was to provide a protected two-car garage but open space design for a couple (soon to be parents). The integration of the new roof had to be designed according to the main house language, the garden areas were included in the proposal and a containing wall. Lighting features and raw materiales such as polished concre te and black stone were fundamental to enhance a unique Developedathmosphere.the project in design phase and lead client presen tations.ARDESA Construction Office led the construction phase.
